Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDISH Wireless is seeking a Senior Regulatory Engineer with solid wireless telecommunications and mobile regulatory experience.
This role will oversee engineering, operations, and compliance for key regulatory programs provided on DISH's mobile network.
The ideal candidate will be a part of a team of engineers who design and deploy solutions on DISH's mobile network including - but not limited to - Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA), Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), STIR/SHAKEN (ST/SH), and N11.
As a senior engineer you will bring demonstrable experience in at least one of the above areas.
Experience in other regulatory areas, such as E911, Location-Based Services (LBS), Location accuracy certification, including Z-Axis accuracy, is highly desired.
This role is a strategic part of our business and presents a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with various business units.
This role reports to the Head of GRC.
In this role, you will:
Be a part of a team of engineers and data analysts to execute the strategic regulatory plan and track complianceMaintain relationships with vendors and government agenciesOversee the creation of testing standards, MOPs, and process improvement initiativesCommunicate and operationalize FCC mandates in a way that maintains compliance and protects the DISH networkMaintain SME, collaborative relationships across key organizationsMaintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track data/visualization projects that accurately communicate and track performance and compliance #LI-SH6 Skills, Experience and RequirementsAs a successful Senior Regulatory Engineer, you will have:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 6
years of experience.
Regulatory experience in a telecommunications settingExperience implementing and managing CALEA, N11, WEA, and ST/SH solutions and/or operating a combination of these regulatory programsGood understanding of 5G Core & RF technologies, including end-to-end emergency call flowsGood understanding of 5G - NSA, SA, VoNR technologyUnderstanding of FCC Rulings and Orders related to wireless emergency servicesExperience working with PSAPs and/or government agencies is a plusProven track record of working with cross functional teams to gain consensus and to establish wireless regulatory roadmaps and guidelinesExperience with incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Salary Range Compensation:
$87,500.
00/Year - $125,000.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
Salary:
$87,500.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
